Just some of the things that Croydon Vegetarians got up to in 2006.
MAY 22-24 NATIONAL VEG. WEEK We will be in Oasis Healthfood Shop in High Street. Croydon, (just under the Flyover) Do come and meet us.
SUNDAY 4 JUNE 11 am to 4 pm - RSPCA SHOW, at their GODSTONE CENTRE, on the A22 just past Godstone Station. where we hire a stall to sell produce and have a tombola.
SATURDAY 10 JUNE - CARSHALTON CARNIVAL AND FAIR A new event for us
SATURDAY 1 JULY - 11-4 pm BECKENHAM RECREATION GROUND A promotional stall with produce
SUNDAY 16 JULY 1-4 pm CROYDON ANIMAL SAMARITANS OPEN DAY 236 Pampisford Road, from 1 pm. Information and promotional stall at this well attended Fair.
SUNDAY 6 AUGUST a chance to relax with like-minded people in a very pleasant garden the garden at 75 Mount Park Avenue, from 3 pm. We want YOU (not your money!) Ring 8660 0954 for directions. 405 and 455 buses pass along Pampisford Road
MONDAY 28 AUGUST BANK HOLIDAY 11 am to evening. THE ENVIRONMENTAL FAIR at Carshalton Park, Ruskin Road. This must be one of the best Environmental Fairs in the area. Entirely vegetarian and animal-cruelty free. Do come and help uls please.
SUNDAY 10 SEPTEMBER from 11 am - BANSTEAD COUNTRYSIDE DAY A most enjoyable, informative and interesting event, with many different charities.
SATURDAT 11 NOVEMBER from 11 am - CHELSEA ANIMALS’ FAIR at CHELSEA OLD TOWN HALL IN KING’S ROAD This is the largest fund raising event for animal welfare annually, supporting 40 to 50 different charities, and a very worth-while event .
