Vegetarian Real Men's Magazine ‘Off the Hoof’ Is Better Than Viagra and Fully Loaded To Eat Nuts

Vegan appeal to the mass media and overtakes vegetarianism - part time veggies fuel market

04.11.2008 20:48:43 A new vegetarian men’s magazine called Off the Hoof (launched on World Vegan Day in time for Animal Aid’s Vegan month) claims it will knock ‘lad’s mag’ Nuts off the top shelf by appealing to the potential ‘real man’ lurking dormant inside all modern males over the age of 20.

'Off the Hoof' have thrown down their non leather, non silk, gaunlet to men's magazines Nuts and Loaded, with plans to reach sales of over 300,000 by World Vegan Day 2009. The defiant 'Off the Hoof' editor Al Slurry says “Nut’s is for burger munching Viagra dependent wimps and flaccid porn reliant merchant bankers. The magazine we
have written is for adults, real men and their ladies who love a sausage that tastes just as good cold as it does hot”

Vegan Market Explodes

Tim Barford whose Hemp food company Yaoh has sponsored the new magazine says “Not only have the number of vegans dramatically increased in the last year but the number of families who regularly dip into a vegan lifestyle for ethical, health and environmental reasons has exploded. Hardly surprising when we now have high profile mainstream media moguls such as Oprah Winfrey exploring vegan lifestyles and encouraging others to do the same. Obviously it’s time for a new generation of vegetarian biased magazine.”

Vegan Sex Appeal

“Our magazine is fully loaded and ready to replace other men’s magazines as the true representation of all things macho and remotely worth talking about. It’s packed full of pictures that will get both men and women’s juices flowing as their imagination begins to salivate.” says vegan cookbook author and Off the Hoof contributor Tony Bishop-Weston.

Better than Viagra and Cialis

Research suggests that nutrient poor diet is a major factor in modern man’s dependence on impotence drugs such as Viagra, Cialis and Levitra that claim to solve over 80% of all men’s erectile dysfunction problems and flaccidity.

A spokesperson for London Nutritionists Foods for Life claims “We have had great success in our Harley Street fertility clinic by changing the ratio of animal based foods to plant based proteins, fats and anti oxidants to increase fertility. We’ve never yet had a male client who needed Viagra once we helped him with weight loss and reproductive health with a plant based personalised healthy eating diet plan and optimum nutrition strategy.”

Dr Longcope of the University of Massachusetts medical school and colleagues looked at globulin levels in 1,552 men aged between 40 and 70. It was reported in The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism that protein and fibre intake levels were significant contributors to sex hormone levels, as were age and body mass. Unlike high protein plant based foods such as nuts, quinoa and tofu there is no soluble fibre in meat.

Staying Power

“There are no animal products in ‘Off the Hoof’ and it’s full of fibre “says Al Slurry, 64, “It’s cheaper than Viagra, Cialis and Levitra and it’s far more interesting and inspirational. Also your bedroom problems won’t immediately return once you stop using it, unlike Viagra, Cialis and Levitra , Nuts and Loaded.”

Launched for Vegan Month

Although the magazine was launched on The Vegan Society's birthday, World Vegan Day, which kick starts the vegetarian society Animal Aid's National Vegan Month the publisher's stressed that this is a magazine that is not just for vegetarians. It will be sold via the magazine's dedicated website and independent natural health food stores. It's already got a cult following and submissions for issue 2 are already 'flooding in' claims the Editor.
