Health and Environment Campaigners have joined forces and chosen the date 09/09/09 Emergency 999 to launch a campaign for Croydon Council to adopt a regular weekly Meat Free 5 A Day Day.

Croydon has been exposed as the unhealthiest borough in London. Croydon Nutritionist Yvonne Bishop-Weston says “Having a weekly day focussing on eating five portions of fruit and vegetables will make a big impact on the health of the Croydon Workforce, school children and residents”
